About QP

Our Lady Queen of Peace School strives to educate children as part of a caring community of faith.

Our school was established in the late 1940s and has served the west side of Madison for nearly 60 years as a Catholic grade school in the Diocese of Madison.

The current enrollment is more than 480 students in grades K-8. There are two classes of 27 students per grade in grades 1-8. Our kindergarten is made up of three classes, each class with 18 students. Enrollment is open to all students of the area.
At this time we are accepting new families for 2009-2010 kindergarten enrollment, and limited openings are available in  grades 1 through 8.  . More information is available in our Admissions Section.

Queen of Peace School has a staff of almost 50. All teachers have degrees in education and are certified by the State of Wisconsin. Many have master's degrees, and all have gone far beyond the basic state requirements. Each classroom has an aide available to help in various projects and to break down class sizes to work in more convenient numbers.
